How are Grips PICSIL made?

Have you ever wondered how a Grip is made?

First of all, we want to clarify something that is very important to us: here we do not manufacture, we craft.

PICSIL has a facility in Navarra (Spain) where they handcraft their Grips, taking care of every detail of the process. From this own space, the team works each piece by hand, combining tradition, experience, and passion for the sport.

And it's not just a matter of words. It's a matter of philosophy, of how we understand our product and the value of what we do. In this facility, no mass-produced products come out: Grips with soul come out.

Each one is unique because it goes through the hands of at least four people: the one who cuts, the one who paints, the one who sews, and the one who packages. Each person contributes their care, precision, and part of love in the process.

And that is precisely what sets us apart from other brands: we do not buy ready-made products, we create them. That is our essence, and it is what makes each Grip that leaves this facility have a story behind it.

So, when you see a Grip PICSIL, think that behind it there is work, dedication, and a team that puts their heart into what they do, right here, in Spain, in Cintruénigo (Navarra). That is what makes us unique.

Our step-by-step crafting process

  1. The raw leather arrives
We receive the rolls of leather completely raw. This is where it all begins, from scratch. We cut the leather into the exact shape that each model will have. This is the physical birth of the Grip.

  2. Painting and assembling
After cutting the leather, it is painted and left to rest to set the colors. In parallel, the rest of the materials are cut and the set is assembled, shaping the Grip.

  3. Final union
The painted leather is joined with the finished velcro and its ring. At this moment, the Grip is complete.

  4. Final packaging
We review each Grip, place it in its box, add flyers, mesh bag, and wristbands.

Thus, what began as a piece of raw leather becomes a PICSIL product with identity, quality, and soul.
